Agnes (Madison) Stetson

Agnes I. Stetson, 84, of Weathersfield Twp., passed away on Friday August 8, 2014 at Northside Medical Center.  Agnes was born February 19, 1930 in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Keck Madison.  Agnes had previously worked for Gray's Drugstore in the Liberty Plaza, but for most of her life she devoted herself to her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Niles and loved gardening, especially her rose garden.  She is survived by her husband, Chester E., whom she married October 28, 1951, children Suzanne Delaney of Girard, Belinda (Richard) Jacobson of Austintown, Anthony (Mary Ann) Stetson Sr., of Ravenna and Patricia (David) Wright of Girard, sisters Marybelle Kish of Liberty Twp., son-in-law Victor Delaney, grandchildren Sandy, Belinda, Andy, Trisha, Tony, Debbie, Leslie, Laura and Michael, three great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.  She is preceded in death by her sisters Viola Stumph, Gertrude Ellis and Helen Rawlings, brother Leroy Madison and a great-great-grandson.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11th, 1:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Agnes will be laid to rest at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.  Visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com to view this obituary and to send condolences to the Stetson family.
