Alan C. Miller

Alan C. Miller, 80, of Liberty Twp., died Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Liberty Health Care Center in Liberty Twp. He was born September 27, 1936 in Youngstown, the son of the late Corwin H. and Wilma Coe Miller. Alan proudly served his Country as a member of the United States Navy and then the United States Air Force. Alan worked for Taylor Winfield as Service Engineer and Service Director for 43 years before retiring. He was a graduate of Girard High School and was a member of St. Rose Church. Alan enjoyed spending time with his family and Family Round Table every week while his wife, Kathy, was still living. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Mary Jo) Miller of McDonald and Sean (Shannon) Miller of Liberty Twp, his sister , Margo Draa of Vermilion, grandchildren Robert Miller Jr., Brent Miller, Luke Miller, Kathryn Miller,  Heidi Heasley, and Halli Wolfe, and five great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen D., whom he married June 2, 1973 and died October 28, 2013, and son Jeffrey Miller.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 3rd, 11:00 AM, at St. Rose Church.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
