Allen E. Bansberg

Allen E. Bansberg, 69, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Allen was born February 26, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Edward and Irma "Mim" ( Juslin) Bansberg. Allen retired in 2005 from RMI, in Niles, as a press operator. He was a member of the Mosquito Bowman's Club and the Steel Workers Union. Allen enjoyed cooking, making custom knives and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Joanna K. (Peachock) Bansberg, whom he married July 24, 1976, his children; Jeffrey (Jennifer) Bansberg, of Liberty Twp., Craig (Patti) Bansberg, of McDonald, Alanna (Frank) Varner, of Girard and Christina (Kristopher) Moss, of Liberty Twp., a brother, Larry (Peggy) Bansberg, of Salem and seven grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Bansberg, Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8th, 10:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Allen will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
