Andrea "Andy" Carmelo Vigorito

Andrea "Andy" Carmelo Vigorito, 79, of Girard, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 19, 2016. Andy was born on July 16, 1937 in Corleto Monforte, Italia, a son to Gabriele and Eleonora Greco Vigorito. In 1967 Andy traveled to the United States and found employment with family in Girard. Prior to retiring Andy worked for U.S. Steel for 17 years and was a Distributor with Forever Living. It brought him great joy to share his love of Forever Living products. Andy was a member of St. Rose Church and the Sons of Italy #2539. His interests also included dancing, flea marketing, and traveling to Italy to visit his family . He is survived by his siblings, Carmelina (Armando) Vigorito Giuliano of Napoli, Italia, Ada Vigorito Stabile of Milano, Italia, Dalia Gargiulo of Hermitage, PA, Antonio (Maria) Vigorito of McDonald, Assunta (Carmine) Vigorito Guadagno of Ottati, Italia, his dear friend, Mary Maytas, fifteen nieces and nephews, and thirteen great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 25, at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 AM - 11:00 AM at the church.
