Angeline Meterko

Angeline Meterko, 84, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Vienna, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Kindred Hospital in Las Vegas. Angie was born November 18, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Andrew and Sophia (Jazdzyk) Soltis. Angie was a licensed realtor and had owned and operated Gemnus Realty in Warren. She was a member of St. John's Orthodox Church, in Warren, and enjoyed playing bingo, cooking & reading. Throughout their younger years, Angie & her husband, Aaron, also enjoyed vacationing and visiting family in Florida (Sanibel/Captiva Islands & South Fort Myers). She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Tammy (Mark) Roscoe, of Vienna, and Daria (Martin) Seidler, of Girard, her grandchildren; Dr. Melanie (Patrick) Browder, Dr. Lauren Roscoe (Fiancée Dr. Andrew Mihalyo), Fr. Alexander and Dr. Matushka Carly Koranda, Rachel (John) Memorich, Jeremiah Roscoe, Tyler Roscoe, Adam Seidler (Fiancee Taylor Kramar) and Kayla Seidler, and her great-grandchildren, Zoya Browder and Magdalena Koranda. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Meterko, who died on June 7, 2013, and her brother, Donald Soltis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 9:00 AM at St. John's Orthodox Church, 2220 Reeves Rd. NE in Warren, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 8:30 AM until the time of service. Angie will be laid to rest at St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery, in Urey, Pennsylvania, next to her husband.
