Angelo Mozzillo, 93, of Youngstown, formerly of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his home. Angelo was born on January 31, 1927 in Girard, a son of the late Michael and Elvira (Gallucci) Mozzillo. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Angelo had previously worked for Copper Weld Steel and retired after many years. He was a member of Four Mile Run Church in Austintown , the Hubbard VFW Post 3767 and the American Legion. Angelo enjoyed gardening, baking bread, making stain glass, reading books written by John Grisham and Stephen King, going to the movies, crossword puzzles and taking care of his plants, and fish in his aquarium. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Deborah Sue Dilks of Long Beach, CA, and Denise (Tom) Kelley of Liberty Twp.; sister, Rose Prezioso of Niles; grandchildren, Carina (Jennifer) Mozzillo, Ali Fagnano, Joseph (Shana) Fagnano, DJ Dilks (Michael), Ryan (Jenn) Kelley,and James (Kayla) Kelley; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Isabella, Aliyanna, Angel, Harper, Dylan, Logan, Levi, Layla, Simone, Jaxson, Alexa, Francesca, Santino, Hendricks, Mikey, and Dominic. Besides his parents Angelo is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie (Elliott) Mozzillo, who passed away June 4, 2014; his daughter, Pamela Mozzillo; and brothers, Joe Mozzillo and Frederico Mozzillo. A private viewing will be held for the family.
