Aniello Meloro, 88, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Youngstown. Aniello was born October 3, 1930, in Bagnoli Irpino, Italy, the son of Lorenzo and Katarina (Nicastro) Meloro. He had served in the Italian Army and came to America in 1953. He had retired from US Steel, McDonald Works, as a track inspector. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Katherine (Ted) Stinson, of Hubbard, Lorenzo (Alberta) Meloro, of Jefferson Ohio, Patricia (Steven) Rinehart, of Howland, and Tobia (Christina) Meloro, of Liberty Twp., his grandchildren; Stefanie DiPiero, Jennifer Greaver, Neil Meloro, Nicholas Meloro, Alexandra Rinehart, Ariana Rinehart, Tina Locketti, and Christopher Meloro, great-grandchildren; Logan, Laney and Lucas DiPiero, and Nicoletta and Enzo Meloro, and sisters, Concetta, of Bagoli Irpino, Italy, and Assunta, of Naples, Italy. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Concetta (DiCapua) Meloro, whom he married December 10, 1951 and died September 22, 2006, his brother, Vincenzo Meloro, and sisters, Katarina, Lorenzina, and Antoinette. Privates services where held at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard. Aniello was laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery, next to his wife.
