Ann Tascione

Ann Tascione, 93, of Girard, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.  Ann was born June 28, 1921 in McDonald, Pa., the daughter of Alex and Anna Palosh Helba. Ann had worked for US Steel, McDonald Works during WWII as a welder, and devoted most of her life as a loving wife and mother. She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Youngstown. Ann is survived by her son, Frank J. Tascione, who she made her home with, and her sisters; Helen Furda and Sophie Kansa, both of Weirton, WV. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Tascione, who died November 18, 1986, sisters; Mary Bolock and Julie Czaruk and brothers; Charles, John and James Helba.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Orthodox Church Youngstown.The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
