Anthony G Ragozine

Anthony G. "Babe" Ragozine, 76, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Thursday June 5, 2014 at Northside Hospital.  Tony was born November 8, 1937 in Girard, the son of the late Frank J. and Louise P. Elmo Ragozine.  Tony served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years retiring in 1977.  He worked for the recruiting office in Cuyahoga Falls while in the service and later as a private citizen for the Air Force radar in California and also for Peerless in Warren for 10 years.   Tony was an avid golfer and loved the beach, dancing, cooking and his time spent in Florida, especially Disney. He loved his family, enjoyed his life and was always smiling.  He is survived by his wife, the former Christel Lischewski, whom he married Feb. 14, 2002, his son Frank (Charlene) Ragozine of Akron, step-children Christel (Eric J.) Williams of Wintersville, Ohio, Bernard L. Harrington II, of Cambridge Ohio, Gary L.(Julia) Harrington of Columbus, Bruce J. (Kerri) Harrington, of Beaver, Pa., sister Patricia L. (Donald) Lame of Mineral Ridge and nephews Donny (Rebecca) Lame and Ron (Melissa) Lame, and grandchildren; Frank, Suzanne, Rebecca, Bernie, Michael & Philip.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, 11:00 am at St. Rose Church in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.  Tony will be laid to rest at Churchill Cemetery with military honors.  Visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com to view this obituary and to send any material contributions to the Ragozine family.
