Barbara M. Riccio

Barbara M. Riccio, 82, of Girard entered into rest on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at her home. Barbara was born January 2, 1937 in Cortland, New York, the daughter of Joe and Eva (Ashline) Kelly. She had retired from Easco after many years. Barbara was a member of St. Rose in Girard. In her earlier years she loved to bowl, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Peter J. Riccio of Columbus, her brothers Joe Kelly of Connecticut, George Kelly of Florida, and Fred Kelly of Connecticut, her granddaughters Karla Riccio of Columbus, and Kolleen Riccio (Christian) Gomez of Columbus, her great grandchildren Layla, Brianna, Aiden, Jaxxon, and two more on the way. She also leaves behind her long time friend and roommate, Audrey Kurowsky. Besides her parents Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Peter R. Riccio whom passed away October 10, 1979, her sisters Roberta and Clara, and a brother John. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 14th, 6:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
