Benjamin Pantalone

Benjamin Pantalone, 86, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Ben was born June 13, 1930, in Sharpsville, PA., the son of Thomas and Mary R. (Stegliano) Pantalone. He was a 1948 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, and earned his bachelors degree at Youngstown State University and a masters degree at Akron University. Ben was a Certified Public Accountant for fifty years, and owned and operated his own business in Girard. He also taught accounting at Youngstown State University and was a traveling auditor for Price Water House. Ben was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hubbard and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Niles. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Frances Colburn, whom he married October 30, 1986, his sisters; Evelyn Davis and Leah Johnson and his brothers; James and Philip Pantalone. He is preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Deltino and a brother John. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28th, 10:00 AM at Tod Homestead Cemetery Chapel. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 4-7 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family requests any memorial contributions be made to; the National Parkinson's Association, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. #265, Columbus, Ohio 43231, Special Touch Ministries c/o Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S.Raccoon Rd., Youngstown, Ohio  44515 or the First Presbyterian Church memorial fund, 22 Westview Dr. Hubbard, Ohio  44425.
