Bernice Marie (Gray) Niswonger

Bernice M. Niswonger, 89, of Vienna Twp., passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2014 at her residence.  Bernice was born August 16, 1925 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Jennie Tuori Gray.  Bernice was a homemaker and had a talent for sewing, upholstering and draperies.  She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Ann Shacklock and fiancee Timothy A. Wilson , with whom she made her home, and her grandchildren; Edward Shacklock III and Tuori Marie Shacklock.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Niswonger, whom she married Dec. 20, 1944 and died Sept. 17, 2007, her sons; Kirk Dale, Dorn Ray and Terry Ray Niswonger, sister Helen McKitrick and brothers; Augustus Gray and Howard Gray.  As per Bernice's wishes there will be no services.  She will be laid to rest at Pineview Cemetery.  The family requests any material contributions be made to Blackstone Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
