Bertha M. Miketa, 97, of Liberty Twp., died Friday November 1, 2013 at East Liverpool Hospital. She was born September 12, 1916 in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rex and Rita Moore Dunn. Bertha was a member of St. Rose Church and St. Rose Altar and Rosary. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Argentina) Miketa of Napa Valley, CA, Richard (Beverly) Miketa of Liberty Twp., Robert (Cheryl) Miketa of Liberty Twp., Russell (Marie) Miketa of Girard and Kathy (Joesph) Piscitani of Calcutta, fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Miketa whom she married January 3, 1939 and died October 29, 1985, sisters, Martha Smith and Lillian Lickliter. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church prededed by calling hours from 10-10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home with a prayer service at 10:30 AM. Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Belmont Park Cemetery.
