Beryl "Mickie" (Kramer) Weddell

Beryl "Mickie" Weddell, 83, of Liberty Twp., passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Mickie was born November 3, 1932 in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Oswald) Kramer. She had worked for Warren-United Telephone Co., retiring in 1990. Mickie was a very active member of First Christian Church in Girard, where she had served as a deacon for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and crocheting. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty- five years, Herman A. "Bud" Weddell, whom she married April 28, 1951, her sons, Todd Weddell of Niles and Michael (Tammy) Weddell of Girard, her sisters, Mary Lou Taneyhill of Warren and Frances Kramer of Columbus, grandchildren; Adam, Ashley, Jeremy, Cory, Alexia, Brad and Ryan and two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mickie is preceded in death by her son William.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 A.M Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and also on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
