Betty Marie Kohn (Gettings)

Betty Marie Kohn (Gettings), 61, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 23, 2025.

Betty was born February 7, 1963 to Raymond E. Gettings Sr. and Betty M. Gettings (Coe) in Youngstown, Ohio.

She loved Harley Davidson's, pepsi, sitting outside, her family and her dog Gizmo.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, whom she married February 9, 1980, James E. Kohn Jr. of Youngstown; three children, Michael Kohn of Youngstown, Crystal (Burton) Miller of Vienna, and Jessica (Mark) Greenwalt of Youngstown; thirteen grandchildren, Brandon (Janae), Jeni (Rob), Michael (Liv), Harley, Gregory (Dru), Blake (Aubrey), Gage, Hailey (Zach), Alan, JR, Lily (Katelyn), Declan, and Aubrey; 5 great-grandchildren, Luca, Evelynn, Zachary, Rio and Oakley; three brothers, Raymond Gettings Jr., Lynn (Michelle) Gettings, and Floyd (Robin) Gettings, all of Hubbard. Many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, and 2 sisters, Marie Maloney and Linda Simera.

Relatives and friends may gather on Wednesday, January 29th, from 1-3 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard, where funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM.
