Betty Masternick

Betty Masternick, 92, of Liberty Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Liberty Healthcare Center. Betty was born April 10, 1929 in McDonald, Ohio, a daughter to Andrew and Agusta (Herbs) Bodner. She had previously worked for US Steel and Windsor House, but for most of her life she was devoted to caring for her family. Betty loved to play bridge with others and on her computer.  She was a great conversationalist and enjoyed socializing with others.

Betty will be greatly missed by her daughter, Alisa (Michael) Georgiadis; and her brother, James (Terri) Bodner.

Along with her parents Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Masternick; her son, Jason Masternick; brothers, Edward and Robert Bodner; and her sisters, Dorothy Balint and Anna Matthews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 28th, from 1-2 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard following a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Betty will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital: st.jude.org.
