Betty (Gamber) Ramsey

Betty Jane Ramsey, 87, of Liberty Twp. died Monday November 18, 2013 at her home. She was born December 27, 1925 in Washington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Paul & Ruth Ledger Gamber. Betty had worked as a housekeeper for Ramada Inn and Days Inn. She is survived by her children Kathy (Thomas) Naymick of Canfield, Ruth (Joe) D'Onofrio of Georgia, John (Amber) Ramsey of Texas, Debbie (John) Pascarella of Youngstown, Robert Ramsey of Texas and Bonnie (Bill) Schultz of Liberty Twp., eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence J. Ramsey whom she married November 22, 1959 and died March 26, 2012, sister, Eva White and brothers, Bill, Chuck and Paul Gamber.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday November 21st, 12:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church where visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Blackstone Funeral Home. Material contributions can be made to the benevolent fund of Pleasent Valley Church. The family would like to thank MVI Hospice for the care and compassion they showed to the Ramsey family during Betty's illness.
