Beverly J (Colbert) Ridge

Beverly J. Ridge, 79, of Liberty Twp., passed away December 17, 2014 at University of Arizona Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona. Beverly was born February 16, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Martin and Laura Colbert. Beverly was a 1953 graduate of Liberty High School. After graduation she worked for the Liberty School System for a few years and then worked as a receptionist for Gasser Chair Co. for many years. Beverly volunteered as a "Cuddler" for the neonatal unit at Akron Children's Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Martin J. Ridge of Austintown, Barbara J. (Faron) Deans of Girard, Donald E. (Tracy) Ridge of Hanoverton, Ohio, William F. (Debbi) Ridge of Tuscon, Arizona, Susan J. Ridge of Boardman, Gerald H. Ridge of Girard and Christine (Chris) Loomis of Austintown, her twin sister; Barbara J. Brandenburg, of Kentucky, 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters; Helen Mickel and Shirley Goldberg. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, 7:00pm at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5:00pm until the time of service.
