Bonnie R Barbero

Bonnie R. Barbero, 71, of Wooster Ohio, formerly of Greenville, PA., died Monday January 13, 2014 at Smithville-Western Nursing home. She was born August 10, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late Eugene and Millicent Thorpe Arnold. She last worked for Erie County Detention Center as a Day Shift Supervisor for 14 years. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1960 and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Greenville, Pa. She is survived by her daughter, Angela (James) Lilley of Wooster, sisters, Peggy De Angelo of Clarks Mills Pa., and Roxie Duerden of Bremo Bluff, Virginia, and granddaughter Jaeden. She was preceded in death by her husband John A. Barbero whom she married March 11, 1970 and died October 8, 1995, son, Douglas A. Barbero, sister Vicki Blanton and brother, Eugene Arnold. Private services will be held at Blackstone Funeral Home and interment will be at Churchill Cemetery.  The family requests any material contributions be made to Blackstone Funeral Home to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
