Brent Charles Kay, 55, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Omni Manor Nursing Home. Brent was born May 17, 1960, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Robert J. and Joann C. Milliman Kay. Brent had worked for the Youngstown Water Department as a maintenance supervisor. He was a 1978 graduate of Liberty High School and past president of his union. He was an avid hunter and was a long time member of Mahoning Sportsman Association. Besides his mother Joann, of Liberty Twp., he is survived by his daughter, Amber Marie (Andrew) Opperman, of Liberty Twp., sister, Kerri (Kevin) Kaelber, of Liberty Twp., brother, Robert (Sue) Kay, of Liberty Twp., grandson, Liam, nephew robert (Sarah) Kay of Girard, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00 PM. at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
