Carol S (Rose) Barnhart

Carol S. Barnhart, 72, of Girard, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Austintown Health Care following an illness. Carol was born November 8, 1946 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late William and Mildred Rose. She had worked for Sky Bank and retired after 22 years. Carol was a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the beach, knitting, arts and crafts, and watching TV. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her granddaughter Emma. Carol leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jay (Tracy Marshall) Barnhart, and Amy Barnhart both of Girard, her sister, Marianne Rose of Liberty Twp., and her granddaughter whom she loved unconditionally, Emma. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, William “Bill” Rose, and Richard Rose. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 4th, 8:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
