Carol D. DeFabio, 69, of Liberty Twp., died Thursday January 5, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1942 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Jack & Dollie Tillery Whitford. Carol worked part-time in the cafeteria for Liberty School Systems. Carol loved children and had baby-sat many children in her life time and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was involved with Relay for Life, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed going to the casino's. She is survived by her husband Joseph R. DeFabio whom she married July 14, 1962, daughter Shari (Mike) Kellar of Girard, sister, Dollie (Ralph) Terrell of McDonald, and two grandchildren, Mike Jr. & Courtney Kellar. She was preceded in death by her brother Jack Whitford. Funeral Service will be held on Monday January 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral home. Family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Churchill Cemetery.
