Carol L. Faustino, 70, of Liberty, passed away on Friday October 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Carol was born June 17, 1943 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Vernon B. and Alice A. Perkins Morris.   She was a 1961 graduate of Vienna High School.  Carol retired from the Trumbull Couty Sheriff's office and went to work at Home Savings and Loan before retiring in 1986.  She was the current President of the Liberty Historical Society, Past President of the Crime Clinic of Greater Youngstown, Member of the Mahoning Valley Old Car Club, the PERI #56 and #18 member.  She was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard.  Carol founded the Trumbull County Police Wives Association and was named  Liberty's Woman of the Year in 2008.  She is survived by her husband, Fred Faustino, whom she married Nov. 22, 1969, son Daniel (Gail) Faustino, of Brookfield and daughter Leslie (Rich) McGrath, of Liberty Twp. sisters Grace (Charles) Hageman of Berlin Center and Heidi (Pete) Iler of Warren, six grandchildren, Jaryd (Marsha) Faustino, Carmen (Fiance Ashley Shaffer) Faustino, Casey Faustino, Ryan McGrath, Amy McGrath and Megan McGrath.  She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Morris and grandson Dominic V. Faustino.  Funeral services will be held on Monday October 28th, 1:00 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Churchill Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.  The family requests any material contributions be made to the Liberty Historial Society in Carol's memory.  Visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com to view this obituary and to send condolences to the Faustino Family.
