Carolyn A. Norwood, 75, of McDonald, passed away Thursday September 17, 2015 at Anna Maria Nursing Home in Aurora. She was born September 3, 1940 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Jessie L. and Della C. Salada Korb Jr. Carolyn was a LPN Nurse at Northside Hospital before she married, her husband, Bud. Carolyn was a member of the Girard First United Methodist Church, Daughters of American Revolution and the Dewitt McConnell American Legion Post #235 Ladies Auxilary. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and was a Red Cross volunteer. She is survived by her children, Christenna (Ronald) Kindt of Charleston, SC and Georgia (Richard) Loeschen of Solon, Oh, sister Sara Korb of Girard, brother David "Ruth" Korb of Hubbard, grandchildren, Camden and Savannah Loeschen and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Norwood, whom she married November 21, 1964 and died April 13, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. Visitation will be on Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
