Charles F. Hubler, 85, of Girard, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at his home. Charles was born December 31, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Edwin and Viola (Banks) Hubler. Charles retired from LTV Steel as an electrician after 37 years. He was a 1951 graduate of South High School, and then he served his country during the Korean War in the US Army. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Youngstown, and the ITAM in Youngstown. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. Charles loved traveling and traveled the world through out his life. He enjoyed going to the YMCA almost daily and had a pilots license. Charles leaves his son, Kevin (Barbara) Hubler of Warren,seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his sons, Timothy and Lynden Hubler, his daughter, Cheryl Hubler, his sister Naomi Petroff, and his former wife, Mary Kay Orlando. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
