Charles L. Meuser

Charles L. Meuser, 81, of Girard, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, after a long illness. Charles was born December 22, 1935 in Youngstown, the son of Walter and Jeanette ( Spatholt) Meuser. Charles was a 1953 graduate of Girard High School, and went on to graduate from Westminster College. He had worked for 33 years as a customer service representative for General Fireproofing, retiring in 1992. Charles was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ohio National Guard. He is survived by his wife,of 45 years, the former Beverly Forsythe, his sister-in-laws, Beverly Baker Forsythe and Ruth Ann Forsythe and several nieces and nephews. Private services were held on Tuesday, January 24th, at Blackstone Funeral Home, with Pastor Rhonda Gallagher officiating. Charles was laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery.
