Cheryl Schumm

Cheryl Schumm, 75, of Niles, passed away on, Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the comfort of her home. Cheryl was born May 28, 1946 in Liberty Twp., OH, a daughter to William Applegate and Eleanor (Gary) Doyle. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, and later worked at Packard Electric as a Quality Inspector, retiring after 33 years. Cheryl enjoyed attending to her garden of many different flowers, camping, and relaxing on the dock with her late husband Richard. She was a lover of cats and would rescue any cat that needed love and care. Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory her son, Richard W. (Patty) Schumm of Niles; brother, Bill Applegate of St. Mary, OH; and grandchildren, Richard M. Schumm and Cheyenne Pepper. Besides her parents Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Schumm, who she married August 21, 1965, and passed away, January 24, 2020. Per Cheryl's wishes there will be no services.
