Cory James Gill, 22, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Saturday morning at his residence. Cory was born July 14, 1993, in Youngstown, Ohio. Cory graduated from Liberty High School in 2011. He was a cook at Amen Corners in Girard and also Brothers Pizza in Vienna. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his daughter at the park. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Patricia Lewis and step-father William, with whom he made his home, father Mark Gill of Liberty, daughter, Ellie; brothers, Justin and Eric Gill of Liberty and his grandparents, James and Shirley Rhodes of Linesville, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17th, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. His family requests any material contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
