Cynthia E (Rohrbaugh) Latiano

Cynthia E. Latiano, 63, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2014 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  Cynthia was born December 20, 1950 in Youngstown, the daughter of Shirley "Chub" Rohrbaugh and Jean Barbero Modarelli.  She retired from Verizon Telecommunications Co. in New Castle and had previously worked for Ohio Bell, then AT&T, for over 30 years as an operator, salesperson and collections division.  She was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard.  Cynthia adored her grandsons and had a great love for cats.  Cynthia is survived by her mother, Jean Modarelli of Liberty Twp., daughters Tracy (Michael) Jones of Akron, Rachel (Joseph) Miskell of Austintown and Rebecca (Michael) Cutright of Niles, son Michael Latiano of Girard, sister Shirlee Rohrbaugh of Girard, brothers Robert Rohrbaugh of Liberty and Wayne Rohrbaugh of DelRay Beach, Florida and her grandsons Dylan Miskell, Hunter and Gavin Jones.  She is preceded in death by her father.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, Ohio, where the family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.  Cynthia will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the COPD Foundation, in Cynthia's memory.
