Daniel D. Blakely Jr., 73, of Girard, passed away Thursday October 25, 2012 at his home. He was born January 15, 1939 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Daniel D. and Cecile Morse Blakely Sr. He was a Navy Veteran. Daniel worked as a foreman for Trumbull County Engineers for 30 years retiring in 2001. He is survived by his wife the former Sandra L. Felger whom he married April 5, 1991, step-children, Anthony and Thomas Slagle of Girard, Tammy Caldwell of Niles, sister, Darlene Blakely Brown of Indiana, brothers, Andrew Blakely of Warren and Archie Blakely of Virginia, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Blakely. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Greenhaven Cemetery Chapel.
