Daryl L. Kitchin

Daryl L. Kitchin, 90, formerly of Girard, passed away Sunday May 7, 2017 at Briarfield at Ashley Circle in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Daryl was born August 1, 1926 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Frank and Cora (Heling) Kitchin. Daryl served in the United States Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a Machinist for Wean United prior to his retirement and had also worked as a security guard. He leaves his son, David (Athena) Kitchin in St. Augustine, Florida, a granddaughter Michelle, and two great-grandchildren Eric and Samantha. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Pazel) Kitchin, his step daughter Diana Lynn Embree, and two sisters Ruth O'Brien and Yvonne Laurilla. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. Daryl will be laid to rest at Churchill Cemetery with military honors.
