David A. Winkler, 65, of Girard, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. David was born October 31, 1951 in Weston, West Virginia, the son of Frank and Iva (Johns) Winkler. David was a 1970 graduate of Girard High School. He was a musician and for many years was the lead singer of David Allen & The Roadwork Band. David's passion was always his music and entertaining others. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Michelle Winkler of Girard, Joseph Fiorenza of Girard, Christina (Jared) Kartchner of Youngstown and Sherri Anne Wilson of West Virginia, a sister, Juanita Tondy of Girard and brother, Danny (Lucy) Winkler of Girard. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 21st, from 5-8 PM, at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.
