Debbie West

Debbie West, 59, of Weathersfield Twp., passed away Monday December 8, 2014 at the Hospice House. She was born December 5, 1955 in Warren, Ohio. Debbie was a operator of the ARC Club in Girard for over 15 years. She was a member of the Girard Eagles and the IFH club in Girard. She enjoyed playing bingo and going on casino trips. She is survived by her children; daughter Jodi West living at home, David (Teri) Stanley of Battlecreek, Michigan, Sherry (Bill Crain) Hamner of Warren and Larry Poling of Texas, sisters, Bonnie Gadd of Niles,and Betty Six of Panellus, Fl., brothers, Kenneth Poling and Randy Poling, both of Panellus, Fl., eight Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband David Lee West whom she married February 3, 1979 and passed away May 28, 2014, parents, Luther & Mary Lowe, brother, Richard Poling and great-granddaughter Kylie Hamner. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday December 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Blackstone Funeral Home, with calling hours 6:00 pm till time of service. Debbie will be laid to rest at Kerr Cemetery. The family would like to thank St. Elizabeth nurses on the 8th floor and Hospice House for all the care that they gave Debbie during her illness.
