Deborah "Debbie" Mullarkey, 56, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Debbie was born June 9, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio , the daughter of Joseph and Martha Burns Mullarkey. She had worked for the past 21 years at the Warren, Boardman, and currently Liberty Twp. WalMart, as a personnel coordinator. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Howland. For the past 15 years, Debbie had been deeply involved with the Liberty Relay for Life, and had served for several years as a co-chair person. She enjoyed going to all of her great-nieces and nephews sporting events and was an avid reader. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends and co-workers. She leaves to cherish her memory, her nieces; Sherri (Cliff) Deem, Shelley Berlin, Kelly(Tom) Lopresta, and Kerri (Rocco) Ague, her nephews; Robert (Tracy) Barlett and Bryan (Angela) Bartlett, many great-nieces and nephews, and her best friend Denise Stevens. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Bartlett and Peggy Berlin and a nephew James Bartlett. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 1:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Debbie will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
