Delores M. Kaminski, 88, of McDonald, formerly of Girard and Andover, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Windsor House, in Canfield. Delores was born February 16 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Bessie (Servanack) Necastor. She graduated in 1952 from the School of Nursing in Youngstown, and studied for a year in NYC to train for cancer patient surgery. She retired in 1988 from Northside Hospital where she worked for 36 years including multiple head nursing positions for the Youngstown Hospital Association. Those positions included both head nurse of surgery, and recovery where she then continued her lengthy nursing career as a nurse anesthetist for another 8 years still at Northside, but for Associates in Anesthesia. Delores was a long time member of St. Rose Church who loved bowling, fishing, and camping with her husband. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Dona Jo Ferraro (Kaminski), of Newton Falls, two beloved granddaughters, Jessica and Danielle Ferraro, and a step daughter, Eleanor Dukovac (Kaminski), of Florida, and many step grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Kaminski, whom she married September 27, 1963 and died November 28, 1999, her loving sister, Loretta Daley, a step daughter, Judy Canton, and step son Henry M. Kaminski. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday September 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
