Denise M (Allard) Zitnik

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at St. Rose Church in Girard with Msgr. John Zuraw officiating for Denise M. Zitnik, 85, who passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. Denise was born December 18, 1931, in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Osias and Helen (Boliduc) Allard. She was the owner and operator for the "Charles Shop" with her late husband in Girard from 1937 -1989. She was a member of St. Rose Church, the Garden Club and the Pymatuning Yacht Club. She enjoyed sailing and world travels. Her husband, John "Jack" Zitnik, whom she married June 26, 1965, passed away December 27, 2014. She will be remembered lovingly by her niece and nephew that cared for her, Marianne Hannah Diloreto of Fairview and Bob (Lynda) Hannah of Boardman; and her many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jack; three brothers Bernard, Rodrique and Conrad Allard; and her two sisters Lucy and Sr. Georgette Allard.
