Dolores A Krut

Dolores A. Krut, 79, of Austintown, passed away on Sunday November 3, 2013 at Austinwoods Nursing Care Center.  Dolores was born October 13, 1934 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Francis and Evelyn Gifford Miller.  She had retired from Austintown Township as a secretary for the trustees. Dolores and her late husband Henry retired to their Lake Milton home and to a life of entertaining friends and family as well as a life of world travel. Besides traveling, she enjoyed her couples club, spending time with her family and grandchildren and their sporting events.  Dolores is survived by her children Beth Ann Hoelzel of Youngstown, Robert (Michelle) Hoelzel of Canfield, William (Christine) Hoelzel of Austintown, step-son Hank (Suzette) Krut Jr. of Ellsworth, brother William (Nancy) Miller of Youngstown, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren and her special friends and caregiver, Darlene Williams. She is preceded  in death by her husband, Henry G. Krut, who passed away October 10, 2009,  sister Jacqueline Vickers, step-daughter Sherri Krut and step- granddaughter Brooke Krut.   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 6th, 1:30 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family requests any material contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice in Dolores' memory.  They would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and Austinwoods nursing staff for their compassion and exceptional care for their mother.
