Donald J. "Ducky" Henry

Donald J. "Ducky" Henry, 77, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, at North Side Hospital. Ducky was born July 15, 1938, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late James and Kathleen Bayer Henry. He retired from Liberty Steel as a machine operator and had previously worked for Cole Valley Cadillac in Warren for many years. Ducky had served in the Army Reserves and the Air Force Reserves. He was a member of St. Edward's Church in Youngstown. Ducky was an avid golfer and had played for the Candywood Leagues and other numerous leagues throughout his life and was a former member of the Jaycee's.  He always enjoyed watching the golf channel and loved doing yardwork, gardening and was proud of his  flowers. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Judy A. DaBruzzi, whom he married November 17, 1962, his Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, John and Eileen Schultz, his nephew Kevin (Amy) Schultz, and two great-nephews, Stone and Roman .A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 11th, 11:00 AM at St. Edward's Church, preceded by a prayer service at 10:15 AM, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Ducky will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. His wife wishes to thank Dr. Amy Awaida and the staff at the Hope Center and also North Side Hospital's ICU Doctors and staff for the wonderful care and compassion that was given to Ducky.
