Donald R. Pedicini Sr.,79, of Liberty Township, peacefully passed away on March 3, 2025, at Hospice House, related to the effects of Agent Orange. He was born on May 19, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio a son to Edward and Margaret (Wardle) Pedicini Foore.
Donald proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and commitment to his community. After his military service, he pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, which laid the foundation for his fruitful career. Donald worked as a Graphic Designer at Packard, where he showcased his exceptional talent and creativity.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Donald was a passionate artist. His work was displayed at the Butler Art Institute. He also had a keen interest in woodworking and was known for his skill in working on cars, reflecting his hands-on approach to life. A member of the Apple Computer Club, Donald embraced technology and its evolving role in art and design, staying engaged with ongoing developments in the field. He was also a member of Churchill United Methodist Church.
Family was of utmost importance to Donald. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Veres) Pedicini, who were married on July 27th 1968 and their four sons: Donald R. (Kristy) Pedicini Jr., of Columbiana, Timothy (Valerie) Pedicini of Cortland, Jason (Erin) Pedicini of Columbus, Matthew (Alanna) Pedicini of Dallas, TX and his four legged princess T.J. He took great pride in his family, fostering strong bonds and cherished memories. Additionally, Donald is survived by his grandchildren Garon, Marlie, Owen, Emmalin, Ava, Luke, Amelia, Eloise and William; sister, Carol (David) Powell, who will remember him for his kindness and humor.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Pedicini.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
