Donald E Stephenson

Donald "Doobs" E. Stephenson III, 37, of Boardman, passed away on Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Donnie was born December 28, 1977, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Donald E. Jr.,  and Nancy (Colapietro) Stephenson. Donnie graduated from Girard High School in 1996. He was a Paint Line Supervisor at Astro Shapes in Struthers and had previously worked for Republic Storage in Canton and Alcoa in Warren. While in high school, Donnie played baseball and continued his love of the sport through his participation in many adult softball leagues. Donnie was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He was known to always have a smile on his face, making friends wherever he traveled. He was a very giving person and always put others before himself. Besides his parents,of Girard, Donnie is survived by his grandmother, Elizabeth "Betty" Colapietro Swank of Howland; his aunts and uncles and many cousins.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13th, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 6:00 -8:00 PM at the funeral home. Donnie will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery.
