Donna J. (Thorpe) Hall

Donna J. Hall, of Youngstown, formerly of Girard, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Omni West Assisted Living. Donna was born July 4, 1920, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Thorpe. Donna had worked at Sleigh Bell Nursing Home as a nurse's aide and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Ronald J. (Terry) Hall of Mentor and her daughter, Margaret (Rick) Racz of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, sister, Mavice Breetz, and grandson, Christopher (Sarah) Hall of Longmont, Colorado. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Hall,whom she married December 14, 1939 and died November 8, 1988, her sister; Arta McKay and brothers; Jack Thorpe and William Thorpe. As per Donna's wishes there are no services. Donna was laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery next to her husband.
