Edward W Krok

Edward W. Krok, 82, of Mineral Ridge, passed away at his home on July 30, 2014.  Ed was born September 25, 1931 in Warren, Ohio, a son of the late Joseph and Theresa Krok.   He was a 1949 graduate of McKinley High School and then served in the US Navy. Ed and his wife, Doloris, had previously owned and operated Ed Dee Printing Co. for 20 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.  Ed is survived by his wife, the former, Doloris Holmes, whom he married August 9, 1958, sons Scott ( Dr. Marcelle Wilson) Krok of Youngstown and Todd (Cheri) Krok of Howland and grandchildren, Whitney Krok and Alexander Krok and great-grandchild Mealea Krok.  He is preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph, Dave, John, Lou and Gay Krok.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 6-8PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family requests any material contributions be made to the funeral home c/o Ed Krok.  Ed will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery.  Visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com to view this obituary and to send any condolences to the Krok family.
