GIRARD Edward M. Winebrenner, 93, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at
his residence.
Edward was born on Jan. 29, 1920, in Niles, the son of the late Lawrence and
Anna Mathias Winebrenner.
Edward was a machine operator for American Welding in Warren and retired in
1983. A World War II Air Force veteran, Edward was a proficient woodworker,
who loved crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret B. Colgan, whom he married
Oct. 8, 1945; daughters, Margaret Winebrenner of Berwyn Heights, Md., Cheryl
Winebrenner of Bethesda, Md., Patricia (Joseph) Marino of Poland and
Christine (Scott) Dotzler of Germantown, Md.; seven grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bertram
Winebrenner; sisters, Ethel and Nora; and brother, Earl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m.
at St. Rose Church.
The family will receive relatives and friends between 10 and 11 a.m. at the church.
