Elaine L. (Carr) Parker

Elaine L. Parker, 63, a long time resident of Girard, passed away peacefully and was reunited with her husband December 6, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born January 28, 1950 in Davis, WV, a daughter of Esten and Thelma Lipscomb Carr.  She was a homemaker, and a member of New Life in Poland.  She was a spiritual influence and loved by everyone that knew her.  She leaves behind one daughter;  Thelma (Mike) Clemente of Struthers, two brothers; Pearly (Karen) Carr of Austintown, Lenny (Patty) Burke of Boardman; Two sisters; Helen (Tom) Frill of Boardman and Jenny (Robert) Gonzalez of Boardman; One brother-in-law; Donald (Alberta) Parker of Girard; Five grandchildren; Danielle (Cody) Webb, Joseph (Samantha) Jorge, Michael Clemente Jr, Jeremy and Jacob Clemente; one great-granddaughter Ella Rose Webb.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Parker, and five brothers: Lee, Esten, Robert, Charles and David Carr.  Her family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.   Her family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley.  Visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com to view this obituary and to send condolences to the Parker family.
