Elizabeth Jane Bell

Elizabeth Jane Bell, 85, of Girard, passed away on Friday Feb.8, 2013 at Northside Medical Center.  Jane was born November 21, 1927 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Mark Victor and Irene (Case) Stone.  She had worked for Strouss' in Youngstown for 15 years and US Steel-McDonald Works for 7 years.  Jane was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Girard and was a member of the choir. She was also in charge of the church nursary for several years. She was a member of the Sunrise Chapter Order of Eastern Star Lodge #458, American Legion Auxillary Post #235, Past President of the VFW Auxillary of Girard, Army-Navy Garrison #422 Auxillary, Past-Pres Trumbull County Council American Legion Auxillary.  She is survived by her daughter Sharon A Conway of Girard, and son John A. Bell of Niles, sister Nancy A.(Gary) Hayward of Falmouth, Mass., nephews Roger C. Hayward of S/V La Palapa, and Mark S. Hayward of King George, VA, one great-niece and one great-nephew.  She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Bell who  passed away on July 26, 1995. Funeral services will be held on Friday Feb. 15th, 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church.
