Elizabeth "Betty" Boggs, 92 of Girard, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015, at Omni Manor Nursing Home in Austintown. Betty was born December 29, 1922, in Pittsurgh, Pa., the daughter of George and Emma Fulton Kiefer. Betty had worked for McKelvy's and Sandel's Loan Co. She was a member of Friendship Park Methodist Church in Pittsburgh. Betty loved working puzzles and had a love for animals. She is survived by her step-children; Richard, Kevin, Douglas and Kimberly, a niece and nephews and her friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Boggs, whom she married in 1965 and died in 1980., her sister Eleanor McCalum and her brothers Robert and George Kiefer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18th, 2:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
