Elizabeth (Meleg) Newhouse

Elizabeth Newhouse, 95, formerly of McDonald, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Vista Care Center in Mineral Ridge. Elizabeth was born October 23, 1922 in Campbell, Ohio, the daughter of John and Mary (Yurik) Meleg. Elizabeth had spent her life caring for her family as a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Clarence (Lynette) Newhouse, of Naples, FL, Carol (Joseph) Rich, of Niles, and Ronald Newhouse, of Austintown, and her sister, Helen Ocarz of Campbell, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Newhouse, who died on June 3, 1974, her sisters, Sue Bozak, Mary Zabelle and Ann Shramo, and a brother, Joseph Meleg. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21st, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home, were the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
