Elizabeth Betty Robbins-Lawn

Elizabeth L. "Betty" Robbins Lawn, 88, of McDonald, died Sunday August 24, 2014 at Briarfield Nursing home in Austintown. She was born January 16, 1926 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Daniel B. and Margaret B. Williams Carson. She was a member of the Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald. She worked as a receptionist for Holub Iron & Steel in Youngstown and the Elks Club in Youngstown. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Dan) O'Neil of Ossining, New York, son Daniel T. Robbins of Howland, brother, Daniel James Carson of New Middletown, Ohio, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband Denton A. Robbins, who died in 1969 and her second husband Jack Lawn, who died July 2, 2001, sisters, Mary Jane Smith and Evelyn Joyce Renzenbrink. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2014, 11:00 am at Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald. Family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30 am till time of service at the church. The Family request any material contributions be made to the church memorial fund. Betty will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery.
