Elma Jean (Plum) Paolone

Elma Jean Paolone, 83, of Girard passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at her home after a long illness. Elma was born March 15, 1936 in Hambleton, WV the daughter of the late Elmer and Nellie (Nestor) Plum. She had moved to Youngstown in 1954. Elma devoted her time to caring for her family and her home. She loved to bowl and was on the Star Realty bowling league for many years. Elma leaves to cherish her memory her daughter; Barbara (Donald) Sampson of Mineral Ridge, and brothers; John (Pat) Plum, Jack (Carol) Plum, and Elmer Plum. Elma is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Paolone whom she married April 26, 1952. He passed away just two weeks before Elma, her son, Michael Paolone, daughter Kathleen Phillips, grandson, Eric Paolone, granddaughter, Kyla Carrillo, sisters; Helen Ours, Barbara Teets, Dorothy Scott, and brothers; Robert Plum, Walter Plum, and David Plum, all preceded her in death. Services will be held in Hambleton, WV, where Elma will be laid to rest at McNeely Cemetery with her family.
