Eloise Ogram, formerly of Youngstown, passed away on Saturday January 5, 2013 at Shepherd of The Valley Nursing Home.  Eloise was born March 16, 1916 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Snow Geesaman.  She was a graduate of Rayen School in 1934 and also graduated from Allegheny College in 1938 and was a  member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.  She was a secretary and substitute teacher at Butler School, Woodrow Wilson High School and Youngstown Board of Education.  After several years as a homemaker Eloise taught in the English Department at Youngstown State University.  After retirement from YSU she worked as a visiting secretary in the Youngstown hospitals for the Organization of Protestant Men. Eloise was a life long member of Trinity United Methodist church in Youngstown and long time member of P.E.O. sisterhood , a national organization promoting educational opportunities for higher education. She is survived by her children, daughter Shirley (Larry) Neal of Liberty Twp., son David (Linda) Ogram of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, grandchildren Karen Ross, Christa (William) Crane, Erin Ogram-Allman, Brian (Jennifer) Neal and Douglas (Laura) Ogram and great-granddaughter Margo Ogram.  She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Ogram, whom she married in 1941 and died in 1994, a sister Dorothy Thomas and daughter-in-law Sandra Ogram.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 8, 2013, 12:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family will recieve relatives and friends on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.  The family requests any material contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of Warren, Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, or Shepherd of the Valley.
